Sun Pharma, one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies, is conducting a Virtual Walk-in Drive for the position of Biochemistry Executive / Sr. Executive. This is an exciting chance to work in the innovative R&D team at Sun Pharma’s facility in Baroda.

Qualified candidates with MSc/M.Tech in Biotechnology or Biochemistry and 2-7 years of relevant experience are invited to join the walk-in event on 8th September 2024.

Job Role: Biochemistry Executive / Sr. Executive

In this role, you will contribute to LC-MS-based methods for protein and peptide product characterization, along with performing qualitative and quantitative assessments of product variants and impurities. The role demands a strong scientific acumen, with expertise in using chromatography and mass spectrometry tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing LC-MS methods for protein and peptide characterization.
• Designing and implementing strategies for qualitative and quantitative product assessments.
• Performing advanced workflows such as multi-attribute methods for PTMs, sequence variants, and glycan analysis.
• Managing inventory, chemicals, and consumables while ensuring equipment calibration.
• Troubleshooting instrument performance and technical issues.
• Preparing and reviewing method development reports (MDR) and analytical test procedures (ATP).
• Drafting technical content for regulatory dossiers.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• MSc/M.Tech in Biotechnology or Biochemistry.
• 2-7 years of experience in LC-MS method development, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
• Strong background in protein and peptide characterization, product impurity analysis, and regulatory documentation.

Candidates with hands-on experience in R&D environments and a deep understanding of analytical tools are encouraged to apply.
