This position reports to the Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, and includes active involvement in teaching, research, faculty mentoring, and academic administration.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Teaching

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate-level pharmacy courses
• Supervise M.Pharm and Ph.D. research scholars
• Innovate teaching strategies and develop dynamic course materials
• Align curriculum with current pharmaceutical trends and regulatory standards

Research & Publications

• Lead funded research initiatives
• Publish in peer-reviewed, Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals
• Represent the university in academic and industry forums

Administrative & Leadership

• Mentor junior faculty and guide academic planning
• Lead internal committees and quality assurance efforts
• Contribute to university ranking, PCI accreditation, and strategic collaborations

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• M.Pharm specialization in any field like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience in recognized institutions
• Minimum 5 years in an Associate Professor role

Skills & Knowledge:

• Academic leadership with publication track record (minimum 10 in indexed journals)
• Deep understanding of PCI norms and teaching methodologies
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and modern LMS tools
• Industry exposure preferred
