Job Description

As a Graduate Trainee at Baxter, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Analytical Characterization Team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trace analysis (Extractables & Leachables, Nitrosamines) using advanced analytical techniques like ICP-MS/OES, GC-MS, and LC-MS/MS.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and characterize pharmaceutical injectables.
• Performing failure analysis, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting analytical challenges.
• Preparing scientific reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensuring compliance with cGLP, cGMP, and GDP guidelines.
• Maintaining laboratory instruments and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of modern analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with hyphenated techniques (LC-MS, GC-MS) and spectroscopic methods (FTIR, UV, Raman, NMR).
• Basic understanding of reaction chemistry and structure elucidation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
