Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Type of Contract: 6–9 months
As an intern, you will work closely with L’Oréal’s R&I team to develop, test, and refine cosmetic formulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting the solubility studies for the Actives for cosmetic applications.
- Preparation of the cosmetic formulation batches with the active ingredient.
- Monitoring the accelerated thermal stability of actives and the formulation.
- Coordinate the analysis with the analytical team.
- Document the findings as a report.
Qualifications Required
- Education: MSc in Chemistry (Applied, Industrial) or M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics.
- Skillset: Strong understanding of physiochemical properties related to cosmetic formulations.
- Experience: Dissertation or research related to cosmetic or pharma formulations and stability profiling is preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- An inquisitive learner and Passionate in handling various equipment in the labs.
- A formulator with Skills to design the experiments.
- Having the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent in communication and presentation skills.
- Having analytical skills with academic knowledge in hypothesis building and testing.
- Skilled in Problem-solving and have the ability to think critically and analytically
