Job Details and Qualifications

Position: Project Manager

• Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Bengaluru
• Department: Clinical Project Management
• Experience: 2+ years in full-scope project management, 10+ years in pharmaceutical/clinical research
• Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Health Sciences, preferably with a focus on clinical or pharmacy areas

Job Description: As a Project Manager at ICON Plc, you will:

• Lead cross-functional project management teams for global Phase II and III studies.
• Develop and maintain successful working relationships with clients.
• Plan, schedule, and implement cross-functional projects.
• Define project scope, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Manage risk mitigation strategies, action plans, and issue resolution.
• Oversee project budgets and collaborate with Business Development for timely completion of change orders.
• Track project deliverables and implement quality control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Project Planning: Define project scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Budget Management: Proactively manage study budgets, including scope changes and invoicing procedures.
• Quality Control: Implement necessary QC activities and monitor quality metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences.
• Industry Experience: 2+ years in full-scope project management and 10+ years in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of ICH GCP and relevant regulations.
• Project Management: Proven track record of leading project teams within clinical research.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, particularly in English.
• Regional Experience: Preferred experience in APAC regional project management.
