Job Roles and Responsibilities

Position 1: Officer Microbiology

• Location: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Sikkim Unit
• Experience Required: 1 to 4 years
• Qualification: MSc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine microbiological tests, including environmental monitoring and product testing.
  • Ensure sterility compliance and microbial safety of pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain accurate records of microbiological data and ensure all testing complies with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Position 2: Senior Officer Microbiology

• Location: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Sikkim Unit
• Experience Required: 4 to 6 years
• Qualification: MSc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead microbiological activities and oversee junior staff in daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all microbiological testing protocols, including sterility and endotoxin testing.
  • Investigate deviations in test results and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage documentation for regulatory audits, ensuring all microbiological processes meet the necessary guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior officers.
