Job Description

As a Senior Bioinformatician at GENOMIKI SOLUTIONS, you will be responsible for:

1. Develop machine learning algorithms using genomic datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and potential biological insights.
2. Utilize cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to manage and process large-scale genomic data.
3. Creating and handling project reports.
4. Utilize version control systems such as git to manage code repositories and collaborate with other team members.
5. Design and execute bioinformatics pipelines to process and analyze large-scale genomic data effectively and efficiently.
6. Analyze high-throughput sequencing data, including RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) and Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), to extract meaningful insights and support clinical genome informatics research.
7. Work with extensive biological datasets to detect patterns, correlations, and potential biological insights, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
8. Contribute to the development and execution of various data management strategies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of genomic data.
9. Troubleshoot issues related to data analysis tools and software, and provide technical support to users.
10. Create and maintain documentation for bioinformatics pipelines, algorithms, and data management strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

• Educational Background: MSc., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Bioinformatics.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of bioinformatics.
