Apprenticeship Overview

Job Role: Apprentice – Drug Safety

As a Pharmacovigilance Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting drug safety and adverse event tracking, ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry of safety information into adverse event tracking systems
• Writing patient narratives and coding adverse events using MedDRA and WHODD
• Supporting the causality and listedness assessment of adverse events
• Assisting in the preparation of Periodic Safety Reports (PSRs)
• Handling serious adverse event (SAE) and SUSAR reports submissions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for regulatory safety reporting

Eligibility Criteria

Required Education:

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines. Relevant fields include:

• Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm)
• Biotechnology
• Microbiology
• Biomedical Sciences
• Biochemistry
• Health Sciences
• Clinical Research

Experience Required:

• Freshers with a strong academic background in life sciences
• Prior experience or internships in pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or healthcare (preferred but not mandatory)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
