About the Department & Responsibilities
Medical Affairs (MA) brings deep medical expertise to healthcare providers and payers. Our focus is on providing customized clinical and real-world evidence to answer questions that can influence the use of Lilly products. Additionally, MA supports patients with educational tools and assistance to access our medicines. The MA content development team is key to creating and maintaining materials that support various Medical Affairs activities.

📱 Chat with Us on WhatsAppThe primary purpose of the Process Owner role is to support the Global and Affiliate Medical Affairs teams in producing high-quality documents. Responsibilities include partnering with global functions to establish requirements for the creation, revision, approval, maintenance, and retirement of certain Global Medical Affairs-owned materials. The role involves managing and refining integrated, cross-functional Global Medical Affairs Materials and other MA tactics review processes through Veeva Vault MedComms.
Key Objectives
- Planning, designing, developing, uploading, editing, and managing periodic reviews of MA tactics.
- Tracking and monitoring overall quality and timelines for affiliate teams’ localization.
- Serving as the first point of contact for material submission, tracking, and platform support.
- Checking submission accuracy and completeness.
- Ensuring tasks are assigned to appropriate reviewers for new and periodic reviews.
- Verifying that all functional inputs are secured and supporting documents are uploaded to the content review platform.
- Shepherding projects through their lifecycle, ensuring quality, speed, value, and compliance.
- Participating actively in deviation investigations and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
