Job Role: QC Team Member

As a QC Team Member at Dr RLaboratories, you will be vital in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet the required standards before reaching the market. Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for sampling and analysing packaging and raw material samples as allotted by the group leader.
  • You will be responsible for SAP activities, ROA (Record of Analysis) preparation, and reviewing analytical records and raw data against Specification and STP (Standard Testing Protocol).
  • You will ensure the accuracy of the documentation before submitting it for the GroupLLereviewrevieww or upload only online.
  • You will also be responsible for appropriately using and caring for instruments or equipment as instructed in relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including cleaning before and after analysis.
  • You will adhere to safety precautions and procedures during analysis.
  • Your responsibilities include placing SOP/STP/reference standards at their designated locations after analysis and promptly reporting discrepancies or incidents to the Group Leader.
  • Lab safety, following JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and using proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) at the workplace are emphasized.
  • You will oversee the handling and upkeep of the chemical and solvent store, the preparation of Spec-check, catalog, and result entries, and the maintenance of volumetric solutions and reagents.
  • Your role includes preparing our lab testing samples (as required), timely destruction of samples as per SOP, printing COA (Certificate of Analysis), completing assigned training, and any additional responsibilities assigned by the Group Leader.
  • Operation and calibration of Spraytec instrument and analysis of Droplet Size distribution.
  • Operation and calibration of Spray view instrument and analysis of Spray pattern test.
  • Analysis of SCU, Assay and RS of Nasal spray products.”

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: A bachelor in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field

Minimum work experience: 2 to 7 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry

Skills & attributes: Technical Skills

  • Proficient in various analytical techniques, including sampling and analysis of packaging and raw material samples.
  • Experience with operating and maintaining analytical instruments, ensuring proper use and care as per SOPs.
  • Competent in SAP activities related to sample tracking, documentation, and data entry.
  • Knowledgeable about cGMP, SOPs, and STPs, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to specifications.
  • Adheres to safety precautions and procedures during analysis, emphasizing the importance of lab safety, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Expertise in handling and upkeep of the chemical and solvent store, including preparing and maintaining volumetric solutions and reagents.
