About the Role

As a Research Associate in the Cell Culture team, you will be directly involved in process development for biotherapeutics and biosimilars. Your work will impact critical stages of product development, from cell line screening to upstream process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Cell Culture Process Development

• Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments (batch, fed-batch, perfusion systems).
• Execute scale-up studies in shake flasks and bioreactors.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate lab records and reports.
• Follow GLP and company SOPs to ensure compliance.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with downstream processing, analytical, and quality teams.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Education: M.Sc / B.Tech / M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Life Sciences.
• Experience: 0–2 years in upstream bioprocessing, preferably in a biologics or biosimilars company.
• Skills: Hands-on mammalian cell culture, analytical tools like cell counters and pH meters, and knowledge of GMP environments.
