Job Role: Trainee Medical Coder

As a Trainee Medical Coder, you’ll be responsible for converting healthcare diagnoses, procedures, and medical services into universal alphanumeric codes. This role is crucial for accurate billing and revenue management in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient records for completeness and accuracy
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, ASA, and APC codes
• Extract and validate information from medical charts
• Conduct chart audits and handle billing inquiries
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians to verify medical coding accuracy

Who Can Apply?

Required Educational Background:

• Nursing graduates (B.Sc Nursing, GNM, ANM)
• Pharmacy graduates (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, D.Pharm)

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience
