Key Responsibilities

• Execute solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis
• Handle various resins used in peptide synthesis
• Perform peptide modifications such as cyclization, disulfide bridge formation, stapling, and derivatization
• Work on mg to gm scale peptide synthesis
• Characterize peptides using LC-MS, HPLC, and NMR techniques
• Operate automated peptide synthesizers (experience in this area is desirable)
• Purify peptides efficiently using advanced techniques
• Develop and implement solutions for synthetic challenges independently

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of peptide chemistry and synthesis methodologies
• Experience in peptide characterization techniques (LCMS, HPLC, NMR)
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
• Experience in automated peptide synthesis and purification (preferred but not mandatory)
