Job Responsibility:

Managing Product Portfolio

The primary responsibility of the AGM/Manager in Project Management at Torrent Pharma is to oversee the product portfolio of different territories. This involves ensuring the smooth and timely development of lab-scale formulations and exhibits. The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical development process, including pre-formulation studies, formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up activities.

Monitoring Development Budget and Capex

Another crucial aspect of the job is to monitor the overall product development budget and Capital Expenditure (Capex) on an ongoing basis. The AGM/Manager will work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure that the projects are executed within the allocated budgets and resources. Effective cost management is essential to optimize the development process and ensure profitability.

Costing of API for Launch Year

For API projects, both in-house and outsourced, the AGM/Manager will be responsible for sourcing details from the plant for costing the API for the launch year. This requires coordination with various stakeholders, including the manufacturing team, procurement, and finance. Accurate cost estimation is vital for pricing strategies, forecasting, and overall project planning.

Qualification & Experience

To be considered for the position of AGM/Manager in Project Management at Torrent Pharma, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • M. Pharma/MSc/Ph.D. with 12-18 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of API development, project management, and commercialization processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within timelines and budgets.
