Internship – Microbiology and Molecular Biology

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 3 months with the option to be converted to full-time employment based on performance

Minimum Qualification: BSc/B. Tech/M. Sc/M.Tech in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related field

Freshers or experienced

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic molecular biology experiments including bacterial cloning, transformation, protein expression, purification, etc.
• Perform biophysical characterization of antibodies using techniques like SPR, ELISA, CD, etc.
• Literature review and analysis of the latest publications in the domain
• Learning and adapting fast in an early-stage startup
• Working in a cross-domain team with biochemists and computer scientists

Must Have:

• Strong knowledge in Microbiology and Molecular Biology techniques
• Strong knowledge in recombinant DNA technology
• Interest in working in the startup ecosystem
• Can work in a cross-domain team
• Open to learn and explore new avenues
• Research-driven and capable of devising novel approaches to solve complex problems

Good to Have:

• Knowledge in biophysical characterization of proteins
• Theoretical understanding of protein biophysics and biochemistry
