Position Title:

Clinical Data Programmer (RAVE)

Job Location: Chennai / Bangalore / Trivandrum / Home-based (for the right candidate)

Job Description:

As a Clinical Data Programmer (RAVE) at ICON, you will be expected to:

Embrace and contribute to the culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes, adding value to the business, and meeting client needs.
Participate in study-specific database setup within at least one CDMS system, such as Medidata Rave, DataTrak UX EDC, Oracle Clinical, and CRF WorkManager.
Review database specification documents created by study teams, including CRF Specifications and Data Validation Specifications (DVS).
Build clinical study database CRF/database screens based on provided specifications.
Create/program edit checks, special actions, and derivations as per DVS.
Collaborate with the CDMS Validation Group to ensure timely resolution of programming issues and adherence to study timelines.
Maintain all study documentation in compliance with ICON procedures.
Complete study database updates per Change Request documents and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve study building and edit check programming issues.
Attend sponsor audits and assist with in-progress audits as necessary.
Participate in internal user group meetings to share knowledge and provide the latest updates/features.
Ensure timely response to queries and escalation of unresolved issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs.
Ability to retrieve raw datasets.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 – 6 years of experience in RAVE programming.
Experience in custom function programming is mandatory.
Veeva experience is preferred.
