Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pharmacovigilance activities across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
• Ensure compliance with local and international pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Monitor, collect, assess, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) and other safety data.
• Develop and implement pharmacovigilance processes to maintain the highest standards of drug safety.
• Mentor and lead a team of pharmacovigilance professionals.
• Collaborate with regulatory, clinical, and quality assurance teams.
• Prepare and submit Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and other safety reports to regulatory authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Stay updated with the latest pharmacovigilance laws and regulations.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Medicine (MBBS/MD), Life Sciences (BSc/MSc), or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
  • Experience in pharmacovigilance software and databases.
  • Expertise in handling multi-country pharmacovigilance operations.
• Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Certification in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in signal detection and risk management strategies.
• Strong understanding of global drug safety regulations.
