Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage pharmacovigilance activities across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- Ensure compliance with local and international pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Monitor, collect, assess, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) and other safety data.
- Develop and implement pharmacovigilance processes to maintain the highest standards of drug safety.
- Mentor and lead a team of pharmacovigilance professionals.
- Collaborate with regulatory, clinical, and quality assurance teams.
- Prepare and submit Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and other safety reports to regulatory authorities.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
- Stay updated with the latest pharmacovigilance laws and regulations.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Medicine (MBBS/MD), Life Sciences (BSc/MSc), or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- Experience in pharmacovigilance software and databases.
- Expertise in handling multi-country pharmacovigilance operations.
- Skills Required:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Certification in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in signal detection and risk management strategies.
- Strong understanding of global drug safety regulations.
