Vacancy Details
Clinical Research Officer/Research Officer (Clinical)
- Number of Posts: One post for Clinical Research Officer and one post for Research Officer (Clinical)
- Maximum Monthly Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000/- for Clinical Research Officer, Rs. 80,000/- for Research Officer (Clinical)
- Age Limit: 45 years for Clinical Research Officer, 35 years for Research Officer (Clinical)
Educational Qualification and Experience Required
For Clinical Research Officer:
- MD/DNB or equivalent degree in Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology from MCI recognized University, OR
- DCH or equivalent degree in Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology from MCI recognized University, OR
- MBBS from MCI recognized University with at least three years of work experience after completing internship, preferably in the field of Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology, OR
- MBBS from MCI recognized University and MPH with at least one year of post-qualification work experience, preferably in the field of Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology, OR
- BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT or equivalent degree from MCI recognized University and MPH with at least three years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in the field of Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology, OR
- BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT or equivalent degree from MCI recognized University with at least five years of post-qualification work experience after completing internship, preferably in the field of Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
For Research Officer (Clinical):
- MBBS from MCI recognized University with clinical research experience, OR
- BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT or equivalent degree from MCI recognized University with Master of Public Health (MPH), OR
- BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT or equivalent degree from MCI recognized University with at least two years of post-qualification work experience in the field of Pediatrics/Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversight of outcome assessment in newborns
- Monitoring and safety reporting for adverse events in newborns
- Review and verification of completed CRFs
- Timely resolution of data queries
- Supervising study processes and adherence to SOPs
- Ensuring timely follow-up visits of newborns
- Coordination of data flow from collection to entry
- Liaising with other teams for quality study data
- Training and supervision of research assistants and field workers
- Any other work assigned by PI
