1. Post: Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical)
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Duration: One year (renewed yearly for five years)
   • Maximum Age Limit: 40 years
   • Salary/Month: Rs 85,090 (including HRA for 1 year)
   • Essential Qualification:
     • First-class Postgraduate degree or integrated PG degree with three years’ experience OR PhD in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences
     • Second-class Postgraduate degree or integrated PG degree with three years’ experience OR PhD and three years of experience in Pharmacy/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
   • Desirable Qualification and Experience:
     • PhD in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences with a diploma or certificate course in clinical research.
     • Experience in clinical research, clinical operations, regulatory affairs in the pharma industry is appreciated.
   • Technical and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

     • Management of the project under ICMR Phase I clinical trials network
     • Preparation of dossier for IEC and compilation of documents for IEC and regulatory submission
     • Maintenance of trial master file (TMF)
     • Collaboration with project assistants for successful project execution
     • Involvement in the randomization process, EDC entry, and follow-up of subjects
     • SAE reporting
     • Participation in research projects related to pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics

     • PhD in applied life science, pharmaceutical medicine, clinical research/biotechnology, biochemistry, epidemiology, bioinformatics, biostatistics OR

Position Details:

• Post: Project Research Scientist III (Medical)
• Number of Posts: 1
• Duration: One year (renewable yearly for five years)
• Maximum Age Limit: 45 years
• Salary/Month: Rs.1,18,110 (including HRA for 1 year)

Essential Qualification:

• MBBS/BDS + Postgraduate degree or MPH/PhD

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

• Postgraduate medical degree (MD in Pharmacology, General medicine, Community medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency medicine, Anaesthesia) with three years’ experience in clinical trials/clinical research.
• DM (Clinical Pharmacology) with 0-1 years’ experience in clinical trials/research.

Technical and Professional Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge in Clinical Research and epidemiological studies
• Proficiency in statistical methodology and data management
• Knowledge of computer programming languages (web application and database)
• Strong understanding of guidelines in relevant research settings
• Language Proficiency: English/Hindi/Tamil/Any other language

Job Description:

• Project management of the Phase I clinical trials network
• Preparation and completion of trial-related documents
• Coordination with stakeholders like sponsors, regulators, ethics committee for trial-related activities
• Training of the study team members in GCP/trial-specific training
• Perform all delegated duties of the Phase I study, including consent process, safety monitoring, and supervision of trial-related documents
• Preparation of CSR (Clinical Study Report)
• Scientific writing and publication
• Collaboration with other project assistants for successful project execution
• Participation in the development and review of policies, SOPs, and other controlled documents
• Preparedness and readiness of the site for trial-related audit/inspections
