Job Description

Role: Research Associate (Toxicology)

• Location: Bangalore
• Job Grade: 9-I

Core Purpose of the Role:

As a Study Personnel – Toxicology:

• Involved in GLP in vivo toxicology studies (acute, repeat dose, and reproduction).
• Assist in day-to-day activities and maintenance of the laboratory following internal SOP.

Role Accountabilities:

• Assist Study Director in the conduct of studies.
• Animal handling, dose administration, and animal care.
• Maintain the highest regulatory standards (GLP and AAALAC recommendations).
• Assist in preventive maintenance of instruments.
• Preparation of experiment conduct protocols to the Institutional Animal Ethics committee.
• Verify data generated during the study.
• Assist in the preparation of study plans.

Specific Requirements for This Role

• Experience: 0-3 years
• Skills and Capabilities:
  • Good understanding and hands-on experience in toxicology.
  • Knowledge of GLP and animal handling.

• Education: Master’s degree in a life sciences discipline (MVSc /M. Pharm/ M.Sc.)
