The ECHS Central Organisation, located in Delhi, functions under the Chief of Staff Committee through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. It is headed by the Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General, and has 28 Regional Centres and 426 ECHS Polyclinics across India. As an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, ECHS is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to ex-servicemen and their dependents.
ECHS has released a notification inviting applications for the post of Pharmacists in various Polyclinics under the jurisdiction of Station Headquarters Chennai. Interested candidates, both ex-servicemen and civilians, can apply for 9 contractual positions with a salary of Rs 28,100 per month.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have a B.Pharm degree or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and a Diploma in Pharmacy. They should also have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist. The maximum age limit for this post is 53 years.

Candidates should submit individual applications for each post as per the format available on the ECHS website, echs.gov.ln. The application should be duly affixed with a passport-sized photo and submitted along with all supporting documents to Stn HQ ECHS, Fort Saint George, Chennai – 600009, mentioning “Application for the post of……….” on the top of the envelope. The last date for submission of the application is 09 Jun 2023.

MEDICAL FITNESS CERT DULY SIGNED BY:
(aa)For ESM: Medical officer of dependent Polyclinic and countersigned by OIC ECHS Polyclinic.
(ab) For others: Chief Medical Officer of Govt Hospital only.
No objection certificate from the current employer(lf applicable)
