1. Research Associate / Senior Research Associate / Associate Scientist

Department: Synthesis R&D/ Peptides R&D
Designation: Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, Associate Scientist
Qualification: MSc (Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Location: Hyderabad and Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Execute chemical reactions on a milligram to gram scale, synthesizing the required quantities of molecules or compounds according to client specifications.
• Perform purification of compounds and analyze peptide characteristics using advanced techniques like NMR, LCMS, and HPLC.
• Conduct both solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis.
• Handle various peptide synthesis resins and execute peptide modifications, including cyclization, disulfide bridge formation, and stapling.
• Operate automated peptide synthesizers and peptide purification systems.
• Maintain detailed records using Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in chemical synthesis techniques and tools.
• Hands-on experience in peptide synthesis and characterization.
• Proficiency in the use of analytical tools like NMR, LCMS, and HPLC.
• Experience with automated peptide synthesizers is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
