Job Description
Role
As a Clinical Coding Specialist at Novartis, you will play a crucial role in managing clinical trial data through accurate and consistent coding. Your responsibilities include acting as a Lead Coder, maintaining coding-related documentation, and ensuring the quality and consistency of data coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple trials/programs in coding activities.
- Maintain coding-related sections of Data Management Documents.
- Review and provide feedback on coding for consistency and quality.
- Troubleshoot coding problems and collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience in drug development with at least 2 years performing Clinical coding.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Good communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Desirable Requirement:
- University or college degree in life science, chemistry, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent relevant degree.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
