Job Opportunity as Project Associate at NIAB for In Vitro Immunogenicity Evaluation of NDV Vaccines
The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-I for a project funded by Heka Pharma Private Limited. The project focuses on the “In vitro evaluation of immunogenicity of three NDV vaccines” and will be led by Dr. Madhuri Subbiah. The fellowship amount is Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA for those with NET and Rs 25,000/- + 27% HRA for eligible others without NET. The eligibility criteria include a postgraduate degree in professional courses (M.Pharm / M.Tech in Life Sciences / M.V.Sc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology) with NET or GATE or any other national-level examination.
NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focuses on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & their applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics, and Nutrigenomics. The Institute aims at translational research leading to genetic enhancement of Indian Livestock species and basic research towards developing novel vaccines, diagnostics, and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals.

Walk-in-interview for One position of Project Associate-I for a project funded by Heka Pharma private limited and entitled “In vitro evaluation of immunogenicity of three NDV vaccines” of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah (PI) for six months only.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- + 27% HRA for those with NET and Rs 25,000/- + 27% HRA for eligible others without NET as per DST guidelines.
Eligibility: Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M.Pharm / M.Tech in Life Sciences / M.V.Sc. etc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology) with NET or GATE or any other national level examination as per DST guidelines and with research experiences in cell culture and viral assays.
Upper Age limit: 35 years
