Detailed Job Description

Jubilant Biosys is hiring for the role of Research Associate II – Study Director in the Toxicology Department at our Bangalore location. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience and a qualification in M.V.Sc, M Pharm, or M Sc Lifescience.

Responsibilities:

• Handling different species of animals for toxicity studies.
• Administering doses and collecting blood samples via various routes.
• Demonstrating knowledge of mechanistic and regulatory toxicity studies.
• Familiarity with GLP principles and guidelines for preclinical studies.
• Ensuring compliance with health and care guidelines for laboratory animals.
• Conducting GLP and non-GLP toxicity studies following OECD/FDA guidelines.
• Preparation of study plans in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Performing live phase study parameters and tissue collection.
• Preparation of study reports and data compilation as per GLP requirements.
• Conducting literature searches related to toxicity profiles of tested compounds.
• Maintaining records of toxicology and animal facility as per AAALAC and GLP standards.
• Communicating study outcomes and providing updates to the reporting manager.
