Job Responsibilities
As a Protein Purification Scientist at Syngene International, you will:
- Perform downstream protein purification and expression in microbial/mammalian systems.
- Utilize AKTA systems for chromatography and other purification techniques.
- Conduct Western blotting, SDS-PAGE, and other analytical assays to assess protein quality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovative research projects.
- Contribute to the development of novel purification strategies and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards in all activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proficiency in AKTA systems and downstream protein purification techniques.
- Hands-on experience in Western blotting, SDS-PAGE, and other protein analysis methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A master’s degree (MSc/M. Pharma/MTech) with 1-6 years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with 1-3 years of experience.
- Prior experience in a research or biopharmaceutical environment is preferred.
