Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Scientific Writer at Sanofi, you will:
- Develop complex and specialized medical content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts, without supervision.
- Manage the end-to-end publication and medical education content development process, ensuring compliance with documentation and approval systems like PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Build and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Mentor junior scientific writers and review their content to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and scientific communication teams, to identify publication needs and deliver customized content.
- Implement publication plans and support medical communication strategies.
- Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline. A medical degree is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in therapeutic area/domain knowledge, publication submission, and project management.
- Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written).
