About the Opportunity
The Preclinical Department at Dr. Reddy’s supports product innovation and development across generics, complex generics, and differentiated formulations. The selected candidate will contribute to regulatory toxicology and safety evaluation, supporting product strategy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Toxicological Risk Management
- Prepare Toxicological Risk Assessments (TRAs), Permissible Daily Exposure (PDE) reports, and Occupational Exposure Limits (OEL) monographs.
- Conduct risk evaluations for excipients, impurities, extractables, and leachables.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Address toxicological queries from safety, production, and R&D teams.
- Support internal stakeholders with hazard identification of actives, intermediates, and KSMs.
- Work closely with regulatory experts to meet compliance for global market submissions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- M.Pharm (Pharmacology) or Master’s in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc)
Experience Level
- 3 to 6 years of industry experience in preclinical toxicology, preferably in pharma or CRO settings.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of ICH M7, REACH, and OECD guidelines.
- Good command over data interpretation, literature search, and technical writing.
- Excellent communication skills to present toxicological findings.
