Job Overview: Nonclinical Data Associate I

As a Nonclinical Data Associate I, you will train and develop skills in preparing and finalizing nonclinical datasets under supervision. You will work closely with clients and experienced data associates, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world healthcare data management practices.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties

• Learn appropriate client communication methods.
• Draft form letters and communication text.
• Shadow experienced associates and participate in client site visits and conference calls.
• Utilize various software tools for documentation and dataset management.

Dataset Preparation (85%)

• Learn to obtain and review study documents (protocols, reports) to prepare datasets.
• Generate and quality check (QC) dataset files in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Address client inquiries regarding study datasets.

Additional Duties (15%)

• Learn metadata compilation for databases supporting nonclinical safety assessment.
• Train on software testing and validation activities.
• Participate in initiatives related to dataset specifications and production.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

• BSc in Life Sciences
• MSc in Life Sciences

Key Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data management principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office and basic data handling software.

Experience Required
