Job Title: Sr Medical Safety Advisor – India
Location: Bangalore, IN
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide medical expertise in evaluating safety data from various sources.
- Determine the medical and scientific relevance of serious adverse event reports within the context of the product’s safety profile.
- Play a greater role as a senior technical leader, participating in matrix management activities.
- Perform medical review and clarification of trial-related Adverse Events (AEs) and post-marketing adverse drug reactions (ADRs).
- Serve as an internal consultant to pharmacovigilance case processing teams.
- Provide coding review of AEs, SAEs, SADRs, and other medical data listings.
- Lead and participate in training activities, product transitions, and audit preparation.
- Attend project meetings, medical safety team meetings, and represent safety and clinical data review findings during client meetings.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school.
- Three years of experience practicing clinical medicine.
- Two years of pharma experience (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of applicable global, regional, and local clinical research regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance- ICSR and Aggregate reports.
- Good communication skills – verbal and written.
