Job Description

Job Overview

As a Statistical Programmer at IQVIA, you will provide programming expertise to develop and maintain programs, ensuring they meet the needs of internal and external clients. You will play a pivotal role in developing project-related solutions, contributing to various statistical programming tasks.

Essential Functions

• Perform programming, testing, and documentation of programs for statistical tables and listing summaries.
• Develop analysis databases (derived datasets) and transfer data for internal and external clients.
• Program the integration of databases from multiple studies or sources under supervision.
• Develop programming documentation, including specifications, as appropriate.
• Provide advanced technical expertise, bringing project solutions to teams and departments.
• Develop, implement, and validate new process technologies, macros, and applications.
• Assist the statistical team lead in fulfilling project responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biostatistics or related field with 1 year of relevant experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of programming, statistics, and/or clinical drug development process.
• Working knowledge of computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS Macro Language.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for mathematical calculations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
