Job Overview:
As a Biostatistics Techn at IQVIA, you will provide statistical support for the production and checking of statistical outputs and the development of analysis plans under the guidance of the project team lead.

Essential Functions:

1. Production of High-Quality Deliverables: Complete and review assignments on time, following instructions from the project lead.
2. Timelines and Communication: Attend internal project team meetings, provide timely progress updates, and support colleagues as needed.
3. Technology: Utilize and stay aware of technological tools (Biostatistical Tools) provided by the Global business unit.
4. Under Supervision: Work under supervision to write and maintain specifications for datasets and TLFs, program datasets to industry standards, and program tables, listings, and figures.
5. Documentation: Create and review documentation such as statistical analysis plans, data review, specifications, and statistical analyses.
6. Risk Management: Identify risks to project delivery and quality and report them to the team lead.

Qualifications:

•  High School Diploma or equivalent Active enrollment in a biostatistics or related field degree program at an accredited college or university Req
• Active enrollment in a biostatistics or related field degree program at an accredited college or university
• No experience required.
• Requires knowledge of basic principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education or prior relevant experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills.
• Excellent attention and accuracy with details.
• Basic knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements, i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
• Familiarity with basic statistical methods that apply to Phase I-IV clinical trials.
• Strong individual initiative.
• Strong organizing skills.
• Aptitude for SAS computing package skills.
• Strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to accept direction of lead team members.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
