Role:

In this stimulating role, you’ll be the frontline guardian of FDC’s intellectual property, ensuring our innovations and brands are protected throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Drafting and filing patent specifications and trademark applications.
• Conducting comprehensive patent searches for patentability, infringement, freedom to operate (FTO), and intellectual property clearance.
• Drafting and filing responses to examination reports for patents and trademarks, proactively addressing any concerns raised.
• Providing insightful analysis and inputs on patent opposition proceedings, safeguarding our inventions from challenges.
• Efficiently managing and analyzing the company’s patent and trademark portfolios, ensuring optimal protection and utilization.
• Conducting competitive patent analysis to stay ahead of the curve and identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Handling trademark prosecutions with skill and precision, securing legal protection for our valuable brands.
