This role requires experienced coders who are adept in working with denial management across a range of specialties and can ensure accurate coding for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities

As part of Helionex’s remote coding team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Accurate coding of E/M, IP, and OP services across multiple specialties.
• Managing and resolving denials by reviewing claims and applying the correct codes.
• Working with Epic software to ensure smooth and error-free operations.
• Coordinating with billing departments to enhance claim approval rates and reduce denials.
• Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and industry coding standards.

Eligibility and Qualifications

This is a certified coders-only position, and applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Certification: Must possess a valid coding certification such as CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CCS (Certified Coding Specialist), or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in E/M, inpatient, outpatient coding, and denial management.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Epic software is a must.
• Work Setup: Candidates must have their own laptop and a reliable Wi-Fi connection for smooth remote work.
