About the Role: Formulation Scientist – FR&D (Global Dossier Leverage Team)

As a Formulation Scientist in the Global Dossier Leverage Team, your primary role is to support emerging markets by identifying dossier leverage opportunities and bridging technical gaps. This involves extensive collaboration with regulatory teams, cross-functional departments, and hands-on formulation development tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Evaluation & Dossier Leverage

• Perform project evaluations per emerging market regulatory needs.
• Bridge dossier gaps and ensure compliance with country-specific filing requirements.
• Provide support for responding to regulatory deficiencies.
• Execute lab-scale batches when required for bio-equivalence studies or submission.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with regulatory affairs (RA), SCM, and product development teams.
• Coordinate raw material planning and procurement.
• Draft and submit regulatory applications for BE studies, testing licenses, etc.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Compile formulation and analytical data to support technical and commercial decisions.
• Provide technical input for resource planning, batch costing, and API/RM estimation.

Educational & Technical Qualifications

Required Education:

• M.Pharm (Masters in Pharmacy)

Experience:

• 6 to 12 years in formulation R&D (OSD preferred).

Technical Competencies:

• Experience in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) product development.
• Strong understanding of formulation science and process scale-ups.
• Familiarity with regulatory filing requirements for emerging and regulated markets.
• Exposure to FDA, cGMP, cGLP, SOPs.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent coordination, planning, and communication abilities.
• Team player with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
