Role Overview: Research Associate – Mass Spectrometry
Location: Bachupalle, Telangana, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Formulation R&D – Biosimilar (Biologics)
As a Research Associate specializing in Mass Spectrometry, you will:
- Develop and validate methods for mAb characterization using HRMS.
- Troubleshoot and optimize LC-MS/MS processes.
- Prepare study protocols, method reports, and regulatory documents.
- Ensure compliance with cGLP, SHE, and QMS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform proteomics and biosimilar characterization (e.g., peptide mapping, PTM analysis).
- Utilize advanced HRMS equipment like QTOF, Synapt, Xevo QTOF, and 2D LC QTOF.
- Execute HCP and MAM workflows and targeted protein quantitation.
- Draft protocols, validation reports, and comparability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Education:
- MSc/M.Tech/M.Pharma/PhD in Life Sciences
Experience:
- 5-10 years in analytical instrumentation, especially HRMS and LC-MS/MS.
Skills:
- Proficiency in quantitative method development and sample preparation.
- Sound understanding of ICH guidelines and FDA regulations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
