Job Description: HCC Medical Coder

Key Responsibilities:

HCC Medical Coding Duties:

• Abstracting and analyzing patient data for Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding
• Reviewing clinical documents and identifying appropriate diagnosis codes
• Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and client-specific protocols
• Maintaining accuracy and productivity standards
• Coordinating with quality assurance teams for feedback and improvements

Eligibility Criteria:

Required Qualifications:

• Certification: AAPC or AHIMA (mandatory)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year to maximum 8 years in medical coding, preferably in HCC
• Education Background: Any graduate from the life sciences or paramedical stream (e.g., BSc, MSc, BPharm, MPharm, BPT, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Nursing, Microbiology, Biotechnology)
• Must possess a personal laptop and a stable internet connection
