Filling officers & operators ;
Filling officers, also known as filling technicians or filling operators, are responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used to fill pharmaceutical products, such as vials, ampoules, and FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) pouches. Their specific duties may vary depending on the type of product being filled and the equipment being used, but some common responsibilities of filling officers in the pharmaceutical industry include:
- Setting up and calibrating filling equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitoring the filling process to ensure it is carried out correctly and efficiently
- Inspecting filled products for defects and ensuring that they meet quality standards
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of filling equipment as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to the filling process
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory requirements
- Participating in the investigation of deviations and product complaints related to filling
Filling officers play a critical role in the production of pharmaceutical products and are responsible for ensuring that the products are filled correctly and meet the required quality standards.
Filling officers (Vial/Ampoule/FFS)
Qualification: B Pharm/M Pharm
Experience: 2-6 yrs
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Filling operations and Media fill activities.
- Execute equipment/area qualifications related documentation and VHP pass box filling & sealing machine (Bosch & Groninger), Steam sterilizers (Fedegari)
Filling operators (Vial/Ampoule/FFS)
Required Education : D Pharmacy/DME/DEE/M
Experience: 2-6 yrs
Job Responsibilities :
- Filling operations on Form Fill seal (FFS), BFS, Ampoule filling and Media fill activities.
- Support for equipment/area qualifications and related documentation.
- VHP pass box, filling & sealing machine (Bosch & Groninger) and Steam sterilizers (Fedegari)
Sterile Manufacturing officers
Educational Qualification: B Pharm/M Pharm
Experience: 2-6 yrs
Job Responsibilities: A Sterile Manufacturing Officer (SMO) is responsible for overseeing the production of sterile pharmaceutical products in a cleanroom environment. This includes ensuring that all aspects of the production process, from raw material handling to finished product packaging, are carried out in a manner that maintains the sterility of the product.
Some specific responsibilities of an SMO in the pharmaceutical industry may include:
- Overseeing the operation of sterile manufacturing equipment and systems, including autoclaves, depyrogenation tunnels, and laminar flow hoods
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sterile manufacturing processes
- Training and supervising production staff on sterile manufacturing techniques
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing controls to prevent contamination
- Performing batch record review and batch release activities
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory requirements
- Participating in the investigation of deviations and product complaints related to sterile manufacturing
SMOs play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of sterile pharmaceutical products, and their work is essential to the overall success of a pharmaceutical company.
- Supervised Batch manufacturing, Filtration, Filling activity, and Area monitoring. Supervision of Media fill activities and other activities in manufacturing, washing area
Autoclave/CPSA/vial washing area, batch manufacturing - Maintain GMP records and online documentation including online BMR.
Sterile Manufacturing operators
Required Education : D Pharm/DME/DEE/M
Experience: 2-6 yrs
Job Responsibilities :
- Support operations of Batch manufacturing. Filtration.
- Assist in Media fill and other activities and responsible for wash area.
- Maintain GMP records, and online documentation including online BMR.
Note: Candidates must have exposure to pharma manufacturing under a regulatory environment (USFDA, MHRA, EU, and other major regulatory bodies)
