Job Title: Associate – HazCom

Responsibilities

As an Associate in the Global Product Stewardship Team, you will:

• Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to regional regulatory requirements.
• Provide regulatory approval in material master workflow for product creation, extension, and translation processes.
• Support material introduction (NPI), classifications, and labelling, including dangerous goods classifications.
• Execute projects related to SDS creation and maintenance.
• Initiate and participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Interact with global customers, suppliers, and other applicable functions to support hazard communication and regulatory compliance needs.
• Gain understanding and apply regulatory principles, concepts, and practices.
• Establish, manage, and report metrics to measure and communicate compliance and business growth progress.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Life Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in chemical/petrochemical industries or related to Product Stewardship and Regulatory Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.
• Proficiency in English with good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Computer literate in standard office systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage data-intensive activities.
• Adaptability to changing needs and ability to troubleshoot issues.

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP EHS.
• Experience handling small-level projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
