Job Purpose

The Senior Research Associate – Oligo will be responsible for the synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides in milligram scale. This role involves independently handling automated oligo synthesis using solid phase techniques and troubleshooting challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Synthesis & Purification:
   • Conduct synthesis & purification of oligonucleotides in milligram scale.
   • Independently handle automated oligo synthesis using solid-phase techniques (e.g., OP100, Mermade) and troubleshoot challenges.
2. Analysis Interpretation:
   • Interpret HPLC/LCMS analysis of oligonucleotides and peptides (ESI, MALDI-TOF, Orbitrap, APCI, Q-TOF, MS/MS, etc.).
3. Purification Techniques:
   • Apply knowledge of oligonucleotide purification techniques using AKTA.
4. Project Delivery:
   • Focus on delivering projects from initiation to completion.
   • Collaborate effectively with the leadership and management team.

Educational Qualification

M Pharmacy / M.Sc in Chemistry, MSc in Biochemistry, or Biotech.

Work Experience

3-5 years of experience in oligo synthesis & purification.

Behavioural Skills

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
