Job Description

As a Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate in the Bioanalytical department at Amaris Clinical, your role will involve executing bioanalytical test methods and collaborating with the bioanalytical development team. You will be responsible for managing testing and training deliverables, maintaining documentation and reports, and contributing to bioanalysis investigations and tech transfers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute bioanalytical test methods following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with bioanalytical development to establish individual training plans and schedules.
  • Manage testing and training deliverables against defined schedules.
  • Maintain all documentation and reports, including bioanalytical documentation and training folders.
  • Contribute to bioanalysis investigations for unexpected results or test failures, working with managers and customers on root cause analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead or support bioanalysis tech transfers as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Support inventory management for columns, reagents, controls, and standards.
  • Perform data analyses and contribute to technical reports, protocols, and internal/external presentations.
  • Attend inter-departmental meetings and work streams as needed.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for these positions, candidates should meet the following basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in an analytical setting and executing bioanalysis.
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills, with a commitment to internal documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • A minimum of one year of relevant bioanalytical experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Basic knowledge and practical experience in LVE (Liquid-Liquid Extraction), SPE (Solid-Phase Extraction), pipetting, LCMS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry), and other applicable techniques.
  • Practical experience in LCMS (AB Sciex) bioanalytical techniques is preferred.
