Job Overview: Clinical Surveillance Scientist
Key Responsibilities:
Signal Detection & Evaluation
- Identify, assess, and manage safety signals from various data sources
- Develop and review label changes in collaboration with regulatory and legal teams
- Lead safety team meetings and contribute to safety data strategies
- Design safety evaluations and interpret clinical safety trends
Risk Management & Regulatory Submissions
- Author safety sections of DSURs, PSURs, PBRERs, RMPs, and other global reports
- Contribute to medical inquiries and HCP safety communications
- Manage interactions with global health authorities
Team Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams including epidemiology, regulatory, and clinical development
- Coach junior team members and drive continuous process improvement
- Ensure pharmacovigilance activities comply with local and global standards
Candidate Profile
Educational Qualifications:
- PharmD / M.Pharm / PhD in Life Sciences / Nursing / Pharmacology OR
- B.Sc. with 7-10 years relevant pharma/clinical development experience
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years in clinical development or drug safety/pharmacovigilance preferred
- Deep understanding of clinical trials, human pharmacology, and disease biology
- Experience in regulatory writing and global safety data evaluation
