Job Title: Medical Scientific Liaison
Job Location / Headquarter: Based in Mumbai (To be responsible for Maharashtra, MP / CG, Gujarat)
Educational Requirements / Degree(s) M Pharmacy, Pharm D. or B Pharmacy + MBA
Experience: Min 1 to 2 years of relevant experience as MSL or similar role providing scientific / medical support
Therapy Area: Hepatology / Gastroenterology
Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:
Medical Affairs:
Medico marketing
Be the scientific face of the organization during KOL interactions.
Ensure medical inputs towards design and execution of medical-marketing programs and clinical programs including initiatives to enhance access to medicines with the focus on “Patient Centricity”
Training
Ensure to provide medical training to new sales staff on therapy areas and assigned products. Provide refresher training to sales staff through ongoing training initiatives;
KOL management
Ensure identification and mapping of top KOLS in the relevant therapies;
Provide regular feedback on effectiveness of engagement plan for KOL development;
Creating an interface between organization and KOL to facilitate flow of scientific communication on Key brands/new products;
Drive RTM / CME / Local Conference participation as per the agreed plan..
Medical Information:
Provide useful, timely, accurate, and balanced medical information to internal (sales team) and external (HCPs) customers, in adherence to relevant SOPS / policies.
c. PHARMACOVIGILANCE:
• Ensuring local drug safety compliance to local regulations and requirements of the products;
d. Clinical Operations and Publications:
Regular audits and data management of the identified study sites
Ensure publication plan in place for relevant therapies / products
Key Stakeholders : Internally: Local functions Marketing, Medical Advisor, Sales and Training. Externally: HCPs
