Integral BioSciences Pvt. Ltd is hiring for the position of Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (IPR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and managing intellectual property rights (IPR) related activities such as patent drafting, prosecution, and litigation. The position requires the candidate to have a good understanding of medicinal, pharmaceutical or organic chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and managing intellectual property rights (IPR) related activities
- Drafting and filing of patent applications
- Conducting patentability and freedom to operate searches
- Handling prosecution and opposition
- Analyzing and interpreting patent-related information
- Conducting infringement and invalidity analysis
Qualifications:
- M.Pharm / MSc (Medicinal/Pharmaceutical/Organic Chemistry)
- Desired to have Diploma/Certification in IPR/relevant exposure, however, it’s not mandatory
Experience:
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in IPR
Selection Process: The selection process for the Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (IPR) position at Integral BioSciences Pvt. Ltd will be based on the interview. The mode of the interview will be on-call.

DETAILS OF WALK-IN INTERVIEW:
- Prior art Search/Novelty Search/Patentability Search for new chemical compounds/ new chemical entities (NCEs)
- Patent analysis/Patent scope identification
- Patent/Non-Patent Literature Search
- Experience in structure-based search using SciFinder, Reaxys, etc.
- Knowledge of patent drafting is advantageous
- Maintaining and auditing of Lab Note Books (LNBs)
- Ability to integrate legal and scientific knowledge
- Provide apt scientific inputs to the medicinal chemistry team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary drug discovery team
