Job Description:
ICON is currently hiring a Clinical Data Coordinator II/Senior Clinical Data Coordinator for their locations in India, specifically Chennai and Trivandrum. In this role, you will be part of a fast-paced environment, working alongside a team of highly qualified Clinical Data Managers. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, select, initiate, and close-out investigational sites for clinical studies in phases II – IV, ensuring strict adherence to applicable regulations and ICH-GCP principles.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Data Coordinator, you will be involved in several critical activities, including but not limited to:
- Test data creation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Tracking the status of studies
- Reviewing data listings
- Data validation and cleaning
- Conducting Serious Adverse Events (SAE) and third-party data reconciliations
- Participating in database lock activities
- Representing Data Management at internal and external meetings as required
- Managing project timelines, addressing quality issues, and justifying any out-of-scope activities
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Expertise in data management processes
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or a related field
- Alternatively, a nursing qualification combined with 4 or more years of experience in core Clinical Data Management
