Key Responsibilities:

As a Research Associate in Custom Synthesis, you will play a crucial role in organic synthesis, reaction optimization, and compound characterization. Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, setting up, monitoring, and working up chemical reactions independently.
• Isolating products and optimizing reaction conditions for improved yield and efficiency.
• Purifying compounds using advanced techniques such as column chromatography, vacuum distillation, and crystallization.
• Characterizing and identifying compounds using MS and 1H NMR.
• Conducting literature searches using databases like SciFinder.
• Maintaining accurate lab records, writing technical reports, and analyzing experimental data.
• Managing laboratory equipment, chemical inventory, and ensuring lab cleanliness.
• Executing multiple reactions daily and staying updated with the latest scientific literature.
