Position: NeuroScience Scientist – LDO
- Department: Life Sciences (Neuroscience)
- Location: Bengaluru
- Experience Required: 3 to 12 years in neuropharmacology or small molecule pharmacology
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on therapeutically relevant GPCRs and neurotransmitter receptors at the molecular level in the Central Nervous System (CNS).
- Design and execute biochemical, cellular, and radioligand binding assays to assess drug target engagement and pharmacological characterization.
- Develop and utilize complex cellular models and ex-vivo systems to characterize lead candidates for potential drug therapies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in drug discovery, including chemistry, biology, and pharmacology.
This role focuses on advancing neuroscience drug discovery through innovative research, making it a key contributor to Syngene’s success in providing solutions to CNS-related disorders.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following qualifications:
- MS, MTech, or MPharm in a relevant field such as pharmacology, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Experience Range: 3 to 12 years of professional experience in neuropharmacology or small molecule pharmacology.
