Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical coding activities for large multicenter clinical trials.
• Collaborate with sponsors to establish coding conventions and specifications.
• Perform quality control (QC) checks and ensure coding consistency across datasets.
• Manage coding resources, pricing, and tool development.
• Conduct trend analysis and support data management activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior coders.
• Oversee dictionary up-versioning, reversion, and auto-coding algorithm setup.
• Participate in sponsor meetings and provide technical expertise.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Clinical Research.
• Experience: 3+ years in clinical coding, preferably in large-scale clinical trials.
• Strong expertise in medical dictionaries (MedDRA, WHO-DD), coding specifications, and data management processes.
• Experience working with clinical coding tools and software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (if required).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in managing coding QC processes and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with database quality control (QC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Knowledge of data management workflows and their dependencies.
• Prior experience in clinical coding tool setup and validation.
• Strong analytical skills for data trend evaluation.
