- Qualifications: PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), PharmD, M.Pharm, or M.Sc with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Medical Writer at CACTUS, you will:
- Develop high-quality, publication-ready scientific documents, including MSL slide decks, infographics, congress materials, literature reviews, standard response letters, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Collaborate with international pharmaceutical clients and internal/external stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and key opinion leaders.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to organizational goals.
- Proofread and fact-check scientific documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Support senior team members during client meetings and external engagements.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine (PhD/MD/PharmD/M.Pharm/M.Sc).
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in scientific writing, medical communication, or related fields.
- Writing Skills: Clear, concise, and scientific writing style with excellent attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of biostatistics.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to tailor writing styles to different materials and target audiences.
