Job Details

Position: Pharmacovigilance Associate

Experience: 0-1 year (Freshers can apply)
Qualification: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or related field

Location: Ahmedabad, India

Key Responsibilities

1. Aggregate Report Preparation

• Collect and analyze safety data for Risk Management Plans (RMP), PBRERs/PSURs, PADERs, and clinical overview summaries.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies in safety data.
• Ensure timely submission of reports as per regulatory requirements.

2. Literature Search & Review

• Design search strategies and monitor literature databases for relevant safety data.
• Perform initial screening of literature articles, categorizing them into ICSRs, AOIs, and other pharmacovigilance documents.

3. Triaging & Case Processing

• Receive, track, and triage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
• Conduct duplicate searches and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Perform quality checks against source documents.

4. Medical Inquiry Management

• Handle Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) activities.
• Address medical, pharmaceutical, and technical inquiries, including adverse events.
• Maintain records and ensure timely responses to all inquiries.
• Escalate adverse events to the case processing team.

Required Skills

• Understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and regulatory guidelines.
• Familiarity with safety databases and literature search tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background:

Candidates must have completed a degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Pharmacy: B.Pharm, M.Pharm
• Life Sciences: B.Sc, M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or similar fields
• Clinical Research: PG Diploma or M.Sc in Clinical Research
